Job description

The position facilitates the access, identification, discovery, integration, and dissemination of relevant intelligence reporting, while synchronizing Army G-2, INSCOM, ASCC, COCOM, and Intelligence Community (IC) data-related efforts within a specified theater of operation. The position serves as the main point of contact between the Army Data Capabilities Division (DCD) and identified organizations for relevant intelligence knowledge management and intelligence data lifecycle/architecture issues.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day, Core hours: 0900-1500

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Understand and deconflict intelligence data requirements in support of combined/joint theater operations and Multi-Domain Operations (MDO).
  • Identify theater multinational C2ISR architectures.
  • Enable rapid dissemination of releasable intelligence reporting to appropriate Unified Action Partners.
  • Identify theater ground intelligence access, data ingestion, production, dissemination gaps and facilitate DCD and Army G2 to deliver solutions.
  • Identify data sets and data sources used by theater ground analysts; assist analysts in identifying relevant intelligence message traffic and identify gaps.
  • Engage with theater customers from across the DoD, the IC, and foreign partners, to actively socialize DCD capabilities and services and Army, DoD, or IC enterprise solutions.
  • Promote the use of access and entitlements management applications (e.g. JEMS and GATEKEEPER) and teach best practices for gaining approval of mission needs profiles for IC Communities of Interest (e.g. CIAWIRE). The intent is to maximize access to appropriate IC intelligence information and tools.
  • Assist customer organizations with integrating DCD services into their intelligence processes by demonstrating additional capabilities and services and providing recommendations that provide added value to customer intelligence mission requirements.
  • Deliver intelligence training solutions, in coordination with DCD trainers, via DCD GEN 302 Foundry "Intelligence Knowledge Management and Content Management" training to units within the assigned theater as well as regionally aligned or geographically focused units for pre-deployment.
  • Acquire daily intelligence reporting using multiple sources which include accessing portals and email distribution lists. Conduct periodic research across multiple classified networks and engage with theater intelligence producers to identify or obtain access to new intelligence reporting.
  • Participate in all in-person or VTC data and knowledge management meetings or working groups in support of assigned units.
  • Participate in combatant command OPLAN planning events that incorporate theater intelligence architecture - particularly from an information sharing joint/multinational perspective and work with combatant command intelligence architecture offices to influence intelligence architecture considerations.
  • Conduct regular travel to theater aligned units, or units deploying into the Theater for exercise or rotational assignments.
  • Provide Enterprise Data Management support by enhancing the data environment available to the Army Intelligence Program of Record.
  • Document internal/external intelligence information management and data integration best practices and strategies.
  • Assist designated MIB(T) with documenting intelligence data flows to inform intelligence data architecture.
  • Explore resources and use new and existing tools to create and modify data feeds and ensure the transformation of data into an ingestible format for widespread dissemination and ingestion into the Army Intelligence Program of Record.
  • Provide Program of Record integration support by ensuring other authoritative databases are exchanging information, to include delivery and receipt of data.
  • Assist in management of authoritative databases to troubleshoot and enable the exchange of data between the Program of Record and other databases, to include integration, collation, fusion, and data discovery support.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 years of demonstrated experience providing data integration support in the form of data governance, data architecture, data warehousing, data quality management, metadata management, data operations management, and data discovery.
  • 4 years demonstrated experience leading a team and managing work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
  • Demonstrated experience in foreign disclosure, intelligence dissemination, or demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and ability to produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts.
  • Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
  • Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
  • Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting training at the U.S. in multiple geographic locations.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and formulating training materials or curriculum IAW TRADOC and Army standards.
  • Demonstrated experience instructing and conducting training for military audiences.
  • Experience in an intelligence discipline working in the DoD or IC within the last 2 years.

Security Clearance Required: Current TS/SCI with ability to obtain polygraph

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience:

9 years in an intelligence discipline with High School Diploma

7 years in an intelligence discipline with Associate's degree

5 years in an intelligence discipline with Bachelor's degree

Required Certifications: None

Preferred Qualifications: Experience using Army Intelligence Data Platform (AIDP) application

Compensation Details:
