Senior Intelligence Analyst

***This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.***

Cherokee Insights is seeking an experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The Senior Intelligence Analyst will assist the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Vetting Risk Operations (VRO) with the screening and vetting of covered foreign individuals and those seeking a DoD security clearance.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Senior Intelligence Analyst: $120,000 - $130,000 . Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.ย  Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Senior Intelligence Analyst Responsibilities Include:ย 

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of intelligence data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and potential threats.

  • Provide expert analysis and assessments on complex intelligence issues related to all-source, counterterrorism, or counterintelligence analysis.

  • Collaborate with IC agencies and organizations to gather and integrate intelligence information from multiple sources.

  • Utilize intelligence-related automation, applications, tools, and databases effectively to support analysis and production.

  • Review and edit analytical products or intelligence reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to quality standards.

  • Participate in inter-agency working groups and coordinate with various IC agencies to facilitate information sharing and collaboration.

  • Communicate analysis findings and recommendations clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in intelligence analysis and apply them to enhance analytical capabilities.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Senior Intelligence Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:ย 

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in all-source, counterterrorism, or counterintelligence analysis; OR ten (10) years of experience in all-source, counterterrorism, or counterintelligence analysis.

  • Extensive experience working with IC agencies and organizations' missions, intelligence products, and database systems.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and evaluate complex intelligence information.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and findings clearly and effectively.

  • Proficiency in utilizing intelligence-related automation, applications, tools, and databases.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

  • Proven experience with quality control, including reviewing and editing analytical products or intelligence reports.

  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with various IC agencies and participate in inter-agency working groups.

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
