Job Summary:

Develop SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) programs to support the data integration of a global supply chain planning application from o9 Solutions with multiple ERP and operations IT applications. The position requires knowledge of enterprise integration architecture, integration technologies including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); and an understanding of the functional business processes and data integration best practices with cloud-hosted applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) knowledge and demonstrated experience required.
  • Familiarity with project deployment model, use of project and package parameters, and Integration Services Catalog (including Environments) preferred.
  • Knowledge of designing and developing data transformation solutions using a variety of SSIS components (Data Flow Task, Data Flow transform tasks, Data Flow containers, Foreach Loop containers, Script components using C#).
  • Reviews user requirements for new applications or enhancements to existing applications and performs analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and training related to the application developed.
  • Software development life cycle (Waterfall & Agile like methods) and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with building SQL database objects (tables, views, stored procedures).

Experience:

  • 8 or more years of experience in designing, developing, implementing systems using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Five years of experience in System Design preferably in an ERP environment
  • Experience with Oracle E-business Suite (EBS), Baan/Infor, o9 Solutions preferred, but not required
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project 
  • Knowledge of supply chain and operations (manufacturing, packaging and warehousing) is preferred, but not required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related experience.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $120,134.00 and $160,178.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments.  The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.  This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.

  • Analyze requests from users for new systems, new programs, program changes, etc. and recommend necessary action

  • Design new systems and modifications to existing systems to meet user requirements.

  • Write new or modify existing programs according to specified systems designs.

  • Test new or modified programs to ensure that they conform to design.  Develop test data for use in program testing

  • Write documentation of system changes in conformance with department standards

  • Write any necessary user documentation (report descriptions, user procedures, operations procedures)

  • Train users in operation of new or modified systems.

  • Aid in preparation of time and cost estimates for program development.

  • Analyze requests and write program specs for Jr. Programmers and contractors.

  • Provide programming support on-site or by phone as required for all shifts

  • Maintain awareness of technological developments in computer hardware and software systems

  • Provide timely and concise summaries of project status to manager

Project Execution

  • Communicates and applies project standards. 

  • Consistently delivers high-quality services to the user community. 

  • Plan and lead testing, implementation, training, support and documentation activities for local projects

  • Assist other developers - internal and external - through provision of functional specifications and technical walk through.
