Job description

The Technology Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced automation solutions within warehouse and parts distribution center operations. This role requires hands-on expertise in programming, systems integration, analytics, and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic process automation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance Warehouse Management Systems using C++ programming.
  • Participate in the daily operations of Parts Warehouse, ensuring seamless integration of automation solutions.
  • Integrate, develop, and sustain automation systems, including ASRS technologies (such as Autostore, Geek Plus, GreyOrange).
  • Design and develop dashboard analytics using tools like QlikView and Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead the implementation of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic process automation initiatives to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Write high-quality product or system development code, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate and select appropriate technologies.
  • Review code developed by other team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure adherence to style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  • Build platforms or data pipelines to aggregate and process data from multiple sources.
  • Contribute to and adapt existing documentation or educational content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work training.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in software programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, C, HTML) and serialized data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).
  • Experience in systems design, architecting complex system interactions, and building data pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards and perform data querying.
  • Experience with database or analytics code development.
