Details:
SAP Integration Manager
Location: Fort Worth TX / Houston TX - Onsite
Duration: 8-10 months
Job Summary:
The SAP Integration Manager is responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of SAP systems with internal and external applications. This role ensures that SAP modules and third-party systems communicate effectively, supporting business processes across the enterprise. The manager leads integration strategy, architecture, and execution, working closely with cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration Strategy & Architecture
    • Design and maintain the SAP integration environment between S4 HANA and eco system of apps.
    • Lead integration of SAP with DM (Digital Manufacturing), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and other modules such as SD, PP, MM, FI and other systems such as Coupa, Concur etc.
    • Define integration standards, protocols, and best practices (e.g., SAP BTP, SAP PI/PO, CPI, APIs).
  • Project Leadership
    • Lead integration workstreams in SAP implementation, in-scope 3rd party systems.
    • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to align with SAP integration with operational workflows.
    • Ensure timely delivery of integration components aligned with project milestones.
    • Oversee real-time data exchange between SAP and shop floor systems to support just digital manufacturing, plant maintenance, supply chain, integrated logistics and sales processes.
  • System Coordination
    • Ensure seamless data flow between SAP modules (MM, PP, QM, WM, SD) and third-party systems.
    • Manage interface development, testing, and deployment.
    • Oversee data migration, cleansing, and validation processes.
    • Complete ownership of deliverables within the integration thread.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Monitor, trouble shoot and assist resolution of integration issues.
    • Ensure compliance with project deliverables, timelines, policies and procedures.
    • Assist with documentation, training, and support for integration solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Report project and operational status to IT & Business leadership.
    • Collaborate with business units to gather integration requirements and feedback.
    • Coordinate with training teams to support change management and user adoption.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in SAP integration, including hands-on experience in SAP Modules such as SAP SD, MM, PP, PM, PO/PI, or similar tools.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end implementations.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD) and business processes.
  • Experience with middleware, APIs, and cloud-based integration platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Industry 4.0 initiatives
  • SAP Activate or ASAP methodology knowledge.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and lean production principles
  • Experience in global SAP rollouts or multi-system landscapes.
  • SAP certification in integration technologies is a plus.
