  • $100,000-$150,000 Base Salary

What you will do:

  • Work in our Irvine office alongside peers 3 days per week while working remotely and in the field up to 2 days per week with Agency provided technology and hardware
  • Tenaciously solicit new business with drive and initiative through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead sources
  • Work closely with your mentors and manager to gain a deep understanding of Employee Benefits products as well as industry knowledge, laws/regulations and best practices
  • Successfully manage the full sales cycle including:
    • Lead generation
    • Prospecting/Outreach
    • Presenting
    • Negotiating
    • Closing with C-Suite level executives
    • Presenting Open Enrollments
    • Renewal process
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Employee Benefits market
  • Understand laws and regulations associated with Employee Benefits administration including Affordable Care Act
  • Present renewal proposals to existing clients and deliver open enrollment presentations
  • Advise clients on the changing landscape of the benefits environment and develop unique client business strategies
  • Continually learn and proactively respond within a constantly changing market

Your Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree or relevant work experience in client-facing role
  • 1-2 years of Outside Sales/Cold Calling experience
  • Knowledge of basic insurance concepts and willingness to undergo comprehensive training in benefits products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a sales-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in software applications: Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Zoominfo
  • CA Health & Life license or attainment within 90 days (employer sponsored)
