Job description

Operates all equipment within the department according to SOP, including ROG mold presses, LWB mold presses, cutters, skives, notches, insertion machine, bender, saws, drills, riveter, and glass robot. Rotates regularly through all operations after receiving proper training.

Uses a variety of gauges and measuring devices to accurately measure and inspect in-process and finished parts.

Performs finishing operation at finish table including final inspection, measuring, cleaning, trimming, auditing, and packing the part.

Perform SPC in operations where necessary.  Includes graphing samples, and calculating required information as directed in SOP.

Initiates action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.

Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.

Initiates, recommends, or provides solutions through designated channels.

Verifies the implementation of solutions.

Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory activities, including internal quality audits.

Overtime may be required.

Other duties may be assigned.

COMPUTER SKILLS: May be required to operate PC and associated software. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: If required to operate a forklift they must have a Fork Truck Operators License. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
