Job Title: Information Technologist (IT) I - Information Management Officer (IMO) (Proposal Stage)
Client: Department of the Army
Location: Fort Sill, OK
Clearance Required: Active Secret or Above
Position Summary
The Information Technologist (IT) I - Information Management Officer (IMO) provides technical support and information management services within a Microsoft-based enterprise environment. The role involves desktop support, user account management, system troubleshooting, and maintaining secure and reliable IT operations for end users. The IMO will support Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and endpoint management tools while ensuring compliance with organizational and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide desktop and client support for users in a Microsoft Windows-based environment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows 11 workstations and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, and Access.
  • Support endpoint management and device configuration in a Microsoft Intune environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely.
  • Perform PC imaging, workstation setup, and software installation.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity, remote printers, and email systems.
  • Provide user account administration, including password management, account creation, group management, and file permission settings.
  • Diagnose and resolve computer hardware, software, and network-related issues quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain and apply Computing Environment (CE) training relevant to supported operating systems and security tools.
  • Assist with system security implementation and ensure compliance with organizational IT security policies.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users across all levels of the organization.
  • Support and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Internet connectivity issues.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and IT support activities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field OR
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in desktop support or network administration.
  • Minimum two (2) years of client support experience in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with desktop hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Knowledge of PC imaging, remote printer setup, and automated email systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely and efficiently.
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Computing Environment (CE) certification/training relevant to supported systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Additional Requirements:
  • Maintain all required CE certifications and training throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Adapt to new Microsoft platform updates and operating system releases as the environment evolves.
