Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:Develop and deploy long-term industrial engineering strategies focused on operational excellence, cost reduction, OTD and quality.

  • Process Optimization:Oversee the design and improvement of workflows, labor standards, and production system designs using techniques like Lean Manufacturing, VSM, Six Sigma, and DMAIC.

  • Team Management:Hire, mentor, and lead a group of engineers and first-level managers. This includes setting performance goals, managing workloads, and fostering professional development. Requires clear communication across functional teams.

  • Facility & Layout Planning:Direct the design and optimization of plant and warehouse layouts, including space utilization, material flow, and ergonomics. Working knowledge of AutoCad.

  • Capital Project Oversight:Manage significant budgets (CapEx) for new equipment, automation, and facility retrofits, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meeting ROI targets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Sales, Pl, PE, QE, TE, WHS and Facilities, to align engineering projects with broader business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education:ABachelor's or Master's degreein Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience:10+ yearsof engineering experience, with at least3-5 yearsin a leadership or managerial capacity.

  • Technical Skills:Deep expertise inLean Six Sigma, simulation modeling (e.g., discrete event simulation), Autocad, and ERP software.

  • Certifications:Professional certifications such as PMP, and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Salary: $144-175K + DOE
