Job description

Industrial Engineering Leadership
  • Lead and manage the Industrial Engineering (IE) team to support daily manufacturing operations and long‑term capacity planning.
  • Establish IE priorities, standards, and methodologies aligned with site and corporate objectives.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to manufacturing leadership.
    Capacity & Productivity Optimization
  • Develop and maintain labor standards, routing, and capacity models across production lines.
  • Drive improvements in labor productivity, line balance, takt time, and throughput.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
    Cost & Efficiency Improvement
  • Support cost reduction initiatives through labor optimization, layout improvements, and process standardization.
  • Develop make‑vs‑buy, staffing, and shift models based on demand and business forecasts.
  • Support capital justification and ROI analysis for equipment and automation investments.
    Layout, Ergonomics & Workflow
  • Design and optimize factory layouts, material flow, and workstation ergonomics.
  • Ensure efficient use of space, tools, and resources across the manufacturing floor.
  • Support safety and ergonomics improvements to reduce risk and improve operator efficiency.
    New Product Introduction (NPI) Support
  • Support NPI activities through line balance analysis, staffing models, and readiness assessments.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, and Production teams during product ramps.
  • Ensure new processes meet efficiency, cost, and capacity targets before mass production.
    Continuous Improvement & Data Analytics
  • Drive Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and waste reduction.
  • Establish KPI dashboards for labor efficiency, utilization, and operational performance.
  • Use data‑driven analysis to support decision‑making and improvement initiatives.
    CrossFunctional Collaboration
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support operational goals.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and improvement plans to leadership.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with Lite‑On standards and SOPs.
    People Development & Safety
  • Hire, coach, and develop industrial engineers and analysts.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure IE activities comply with EHS requirements.
  • Support skill development and succession planning within the IE team.
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
    8–12 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience, including 3+ years in a management or lead role.
    Experience in electronics, EMS, or high‑volume manufacturing environments. 
    Proven ability to deliver measurable productivity and cost improvements.
    Travel Requirement:
  • 10% travel, subject to change based on business needs.
