Industrial Designer

Location:High Point, NC

Employment Type:Fulltime, Onsite (open to candidates who are willing to relocate)

About the Role:

We are seeking anIndustrial Designer to support the design and development of consumer-level products from concept through production. This role is ideal for adesigner who is eager to build hands-on experience, contribute creative ideas, and collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end design process, including ideation, sketching, 3D modeling, prototyping, and refinements

• Translate creative concepts into functional, manufacturable designs

• Develop CAD models, drawings, and basic renderings for product concepts

• Assistin materialselection, finishes, colors, and surface treatments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, sourcing, marketing)

• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from senior designers and stakeholders

• Support preparation of design documentation for tooling and manufacturing

• Stay informed on consumer trends, materials, and design innovations

• Other related tasks

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Designor a related field

• 2- 5years of professional experience or relevant internships in product or industrial design

• Foundationalproficiencyin CAD and design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino,KeyShot,Onshape,Adobe Creative Suite)

• Strongmechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply basic engineering concepts

• Strong sketching and visual communication skills

• Basic understanding of product development and manufacturing processes

• Ability to receive feedback, iterate designs, and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

PreferredQualifications:

• Experience designing consumer products (home goods, lifestyle, electronics, furniture, or similar)

• Exposure to mass production, tooling constraints, or supplier collaboration

• Familiarity with prototype fabrication methods (3D printing, mock-ups)

• Portfoliodemonstratingdesign process, problem-solving, and aesthetics
