Job description

Core Accountabilities
  • Assist Inbound supervisor and Inbound logistics coordinator in executing daily work plan.
  • Train all full-time employees to perform Inbound functions to maintain a high standard of Inventory accuracy. Work with supervisor to assess Inbound associates' abilities and performance.
  • Train and develop temporary staff. Assess performance and report to supervisor.
  • Monitor morale and assist in motivating associates.
  • Reconcile and close all footwear and accessories receipts each day in WMS and reconcile SAP postings. Research discrepancies and open tickets with appropriate team.
  • Monitor lost cartons and perform inventory adjustments. Maintain error tracking report and record trends in putaway issues. Work with associates to reduce errors.
  • Weigh and measure all new products that are received into the warehouse and apply the appropriate dimension model. Assist in creating new dimension models for products that come in with new sizes and package numbers. This is essential for Carton Content for outgoing shipments and outbound efficiencies.
  • Correct all issues with carton content. Including different pack quantities, new package quantities (case quantities) for existing products, dimension issues for storage, pack factor issues (picking issues).
  • Assist in replenishment, full case, and cross dock picking, labeling, and reconciling.
  • Work with returns quality coordinator on vendor compliance issues.
  • Back up to all DC coordinators.
  • Provide and support company safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to all warehouse functional areas when needed.

Key Requirements
  • Possess High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of distribution and/or warehouse operations.
  • Problem solving skills including prioritization and initiation of tasks.
  • Attention to and awareness of ergonomic issues in the workplace.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Demonstrated proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MARC, SAP, and Excel.
  • Ability to drive warehouse equipment required.

Computer skills: MS Word, Windows, Excel , SAP and WMS.
May be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine in nature. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull. May be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components while operating machinery and exerting force or lift up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
May be called upon to perform physical and quality checks requiring sufficient visual acuity to identify quality flaws and distinguish colors on small components.
This position is not available to be performed in Colorado.
