Job description

As the Receiving Coordinator, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing incoming parts to support the technician team. This role includes verifying shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and assisting with vehicle staging for Manheim auction pickups. You will also be responsible for organizing the overflow storage area and supporting the overall cleanliness and organization of the shop. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Salaryย Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $16.50 per hour based on experience.

Hours:

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm.

Receiving Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

  • Verify incoming parts against checklists and part kits for accuracy.
  • Distribute ordered parts to the appropriate technicians promptly.
  • Maintain control of inventory in the overflow storage area and keep parts organized.
  • Stage vehicles for Manheim auction pickup and verify necessary paperwork with drivers.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shop environment, including light housekeeping duties.
  • Support operational flow by ensuring parts are properly sorted, staged, and ready for technician use.
  • Communicate effectively with the supervisor and team to ensure the timely handling of materials.

Receiving Coordinator Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0โ€“1 year of experience in inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics preferred; position is trainable.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment.
  • Basic computer literacy is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to assist with general shop upkeep as needed.
