Job Description: ProForce is seeking a Receiving Coordinator in the Nashville, TN area. This position is for a Warehouse/Logistic client and the candidates would report to the Warehouse Manager.JOB DESCRIPTION:As a Receiving Clerk you are responsible for the daily operations in the Warehouse as it relates to the receiving of Raw Materials and small packages. You will closely collaborate with the Purchasing Department. This relationship should be built on respect, trust, and teamwork. You will closely collaborate with the Dock Supervisor and Forklift Operators when flatbeds and trailers need to be unloaded.It is critical that raw materials are unloaded and delivered to the shop as quickly as possible. You should identify discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager as soon as possible too. You will communicate upstream and downstream to all relevant stakeholders regarding deliveries.You will be very well-versed in all things regarding the receiving of raw materials. Understanding and able to identify similar but different materials. Able to confirm quantities and document accordingly. Know where materials are to be staged and to label them so they can be located when called for.Other responsibilities as assigned by Management.EXPECTED RESULTS:You will be successful if you are able to:Safely operate a forklift.Deliver small packages to the various departments in the front office and warehouse.Load and unload raw materials (i.e., large bundles of lumber and plywood, steel plates and beams, aluminum extrusions, etc.).Log received items into accounting software.Log into FED Ex and UPS online websites and ship small packages, domestic and internationally.Maintain the Receiving security cage and its corresponding logbook.Communicate with the Fabrication if you find stock materials are running low or are depleted.Requirements:Minimum of (3) years of industry related experience.An ability to communicate clearly in a timely fashion verbally and through written text.General computer skills.Exceptional organizational skills.Significant experience or knowledge of the exhibit industry, specifically regarding receiving raw materials.
