We are seeking a Procurement Operations Manager, Logistics/Handover/Interface to support hyperscale data center construction projects in a PMC/owner's representative capacity.

This role focuses on heavy and oversize equipment logistics, site delivery sequencing, and formal equipment handover and acceptance at delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track and confirm construction readiness milestones are aligned with planned equipment delivery dates before equipment is released for shipment.
  • Coordinate with the GC and project team to verify site conditions support delivery and installation sequencing.
  • Coordinate import logistics for heavy and oversize equipment.
  • Manage freight forwarding, port handling, and customs coordination.
  • Coordinate oversize load permitting for large equipment movements.
  • Plan site delivery sequencing with GC and project teams.
  • Manage equipment arrival, handover, and acceptance at delivery.
  • Document custody transfer from vendor or owner to GC.
  • Conduct visual damage inspections during equipment delivery.
  • Produce written acceptance records and handover documentation.
  • Escalate delivery, access, permitting, or handover risks.
  • Coordinate logistics interfaces between vendors, carriers, GC, and owner teams.
  • Maintain logistics trackers, delivery records, and acceptance logs.
  • Support the resolution of delivery issues impacting construction sequencing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of logistics, procurement operations, or construction delivery experience.
  • Experience coordinating import logistics for heavy or oversize equipment.
  • Experience with freight forwarding, port handling, and customs coordination.
  • Experience coordinating oversize load permitting for large equipment movements.
  • Experience in sequencing site deliveries with GC or construction teams.
  • Experience in physically managing equipment handover and acceptance at delivery.
  • Experience documenting custody transfer between vendor, owner, and GC teams.
  • Ability to conduct visual damage inspections and produce acceptance records.
  • Experience working on large capital construction or infrastructure programs.
  • Strong documentation, coordination, communication, and issue-resolution skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center or mission-critical projects.
  • Experience in a PMC, owner's representative, developer, or client-side environment.
  • Experience in oil and gas, LNG, power plant, or heavy industrial construction.
  • Experience with transformers, generators, switchgear, or other critical equipment.
  • Familiarity with logistics planning tools, procurement systems, or delivery trackers.
  • Experience with Procore, Oracle Unifier, Smartsheet, Power BI, or Microsoft Project.
