Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group is searching for an experienced Project Manager who will work closely with Nikkiso CE&IG department leaders, Functional Units, external vendors, consultants, and global teams to plan, align, develop, and implement enterprise platform and ERP projects around the world. This position will be based in Southern California.

Salary Range: $77,000 - $138,000

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be a self-driven, experienced, motivated leader with multiple years of experience leading ERP and enterprise application implementations across complex organizations. Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, Infor, NetSuite, or similar ERP solutions is highly desired. Salesforce experience is considered a plus. This senior-level role requires strong project management capabilities, expert-level communication skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines.

The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that objectives are accomplished within established specifications, schedules, and budgets.

The Project Manager III position is based in Southern California and offers a hybrid work schedule, with approximately 30% travel required.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities:

    • Lead multiple ERP implementation projects, including finance, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and enterprise platform initiatives
    • Manage ERP projects that involve integrations with enterprise systems such as CRM, reporting, data warehouse, and third-party applications
    • Promote and work within established enterprise governance and PMO structures
    • Ability to pivot and work on other types of projects where required
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of projects from start to finish including planning, resource allocation, risk management, issue management, and change management
    • Help determine and actively monitor enterprise project budgets
    • Be responsible for presenting to and coordinating with executive-level stakeholders and sponsors
    • Develop communication and training plans to support companywide understanding and system adoption
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to establish project objectives, deliverables, and milestones for tracking progress
    • Assist in the procurement and coordination of software vendors, implementation partners, equipment, and services needed for projects
    • Work within the PMO framework and help manage PMO standards, methodologies, and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
  • Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of ERP implementation project experience is required
    • Experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, Infor, NetSuite, or similar systems strongly preferred
    • Salesforce implementation experience is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
    • 7+ years of project management experience
    • 5+ years leading project management initiatives and teams within international, matrixed organizations
    • Clear technical knowledge related to ERP data migration, integrations, testing, deployment, and change management
    • Experience managing cross-functional enterprise application implementations involving finance, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain teams
    • Expert communicator who can simplify and convey complicated information to all stakeholders
    • Leadership skills to support and motivate team members
    • Organizational skills to keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines
    • Problem-solving skills to help identify opportunities and overcome challenges
    • Agile and flexible approach to work without losing focus on the end goal
