Job Description:

Client is seeking experienced Epic Senior/Project Managers to provide project management leadership and support for the development and ongoing maintenance of Epic Project Implementations. Core job duties include:

· Plans, estimates, organizes, and manages multiple small to medium projects and/or multiple larger-scale projects.

· Communicates both within the team, stakeholders, and Senior Project Managers.

· Establishes and assures effective teamwork, communications, and reporting at the project phase level and at the management and stakeholder level for the status of projects.

· Gives continuing feedback, recognizes achievement, and recommends improvement.

· Creates and maintains project lists of issues and potential problems.

· Cooperates with project team members to produce status report updates.

· Conducts and reports on project budget variance analysis.

· Organizes projects that span disciplines, geographic areas, and business cultures.

· Plans for allocation of project resources in line with unit goals, strategic and business objectives.

· Facilitates and manages project planning, estimating, scheduling of low to medium-risk, low to medium-impact projects.

· Verifies and confirms project funding and budget assignments and allocations.

· Organizes projects and ensures that they are executed successfully to plan.

· Identifies risks and vulnerabilities and creates contingency plans.

· Identifies reporting and control requirements and reflects them in all project plans.

Requirements:

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Project Management experience, typically 3-5 years implementing and managing multiple large-scale programs/projects.

• Ability to lead process improvement activities to make enhancement recommendations and implement workflow and business process changes.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer service utilizing established PMO Program/Project Management methodology, processes, procedures, tools, and techniques to improve quality measures and metrics.

• A valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety requirements.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and nontechnical staff; and demonstrated job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.

• Demonstrated strong project management, organizational and facilitation skills.

• Experience leading teams and people to successfully implement change utilizing a positive, can-do attitude to inspire others.

• Proficient in Project Management tools such as M365, MS Teams, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint.

• Experience with the concept of the PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge) and applying project management principles, methodology & processes, tools & techniques to managing projects.

• Ability to simultaneously lead multiple small to large-scale projects.

• Experience implementing Epic in a Critical Access or Rural Health Clinic setting as part of a community connect install.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience.

Logistics:

• Must be willing to travel to mid-west on a regular basis as needed throughout the implementation and delivery of training

• Location: Client is located in the mid-west / must be willing to work CST

• Start Date: Late April / Early May

• Duration: Contract length could be up to 12 months
