Job Summary:
Saltmarsh is looking for a Client Accounting Advisory Service (CAAS) Solutions Implementation Manager to oversee the successful implementation of accounting solutions and services for clients. This role involves managing the full implementation lifecycle, optimizing workflows, and ensuring client satisfaction through efficient accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in scoping and pricing for prospects.
• Lead Discovery and Implementation Projects.
• Manage and oversee the end-to-end implementation of accounting solutions for clients.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations and business goals.
• Support clients with accounting deliverables as needed.
• Collaborate with clients to assess existing accounting workflows, identify pain points, and design optimized processes.
• Recommend and implement improvements that drive efficiency, scalability, and automation across accounting functions.
• Evaluate and implement new accounting technologies, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
• Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting, providing guidance, and ensuring the proper functionality of tools and systems throughout the implementation and across ongoing operations.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of current accounting processes and technologies, recommending new or updated tools to streamline workflows, improve automation, and meet evolving business needs.
• Evaluate current clients to identify possible ways to improve automation and/or efficiency.
• Continue working closely with other teams to ensure successful implementations and seamless integration of solutions into clients’ existing systems.
• Take a proactive approach in identifying potential issues during the implementation process.
• Develop solutions and work closely with clients and internal teams to address and resolve any challenges.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they successfully transition to new systems and operations.
• Provide ongoing training and support to internal and client teams to ensure effective adoption and long-term success with implemented solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solutions implementation, project management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a client-facing role focused on accounting solutions.
• Strong expertise in accounting processes, financial systems, and automation tools (e.g., ERP systems, cloud-based accounting platforms).
• Demonstrated success in managing technology integrations and process optimization within an accounting environment.
• Advanced project management skills, including experience with related PM tools.
• Ability to analyze and optimize accounting workflows, integrating automation and efficiency improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with an ability to resolve complex implementation challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting client needs in a fast-paced environment.
