Job description

Our Staffing Specialist position is perfect for building your career in our sales, recruiting or operations teams.
The successful hire will be outgoing and ambitious, establish rapport with candidates and hiring managers quickly, have a passion for recruiting and the desire to be successful.
This position will play an integral role in helping to meet the demands of our client staffing in the local area.
This role is based in our local office and cannot work remotely.
Candidates must be fluent in English/Spanish for consideration.
Pay rate: $22-25/hr.

What you'll do:
  • Recruit candidates via in person, email, video and telephone interviews
  • Ensure quality of approved candidates for hiring teams and prep them for their interview experience
  • Understand profiles required to provide successful candidates to clients
  • Approve or dismiss candidates following the screening, and prep the approved candidates to be successful for the client interview.
  • Monitor and report on recruiting metrics with creative and proactive ideas to drive results
  • Interact, correspond, and maintain effective communication with candidates and client via email
  • Process all candidates as needed for hire such as: I-9, drug testing, application completion, payroll
  • Follow up and drive conversion of candidates in pipeline.
  • Meet all required compliance reports weekly
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to complete work on a daily/weekly basis
  • Drive to client check ins as needed

What you'll need:
  • Fluency in English/Spanish (reading/writing/speaking) is required
  • 2+ years in Recruiting Coordination or HR
  • 2+ years in hospitality, admin support or customer service role
  • Ability to drive to office and client locations as needed
  • Strong office admin skills (outlook, MS office suite) required
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation for client visits and check ins as needed
