Job description

FABRICATOR - MAKER OF BIG, BOLD, UNFORGETTABLE THINGS

At Lime Media, fabrication isn't just cutting, welding, or screwing parts together - it's taking wild ideas and making them real. Our Fabricators are the Swiss Army knives of the shop: one day you're framing with wood, the next you're welding aluminum, then wiring lights, installing HVAC, or fine-tuning details so sharp they stop people in their tracks.

We thrive on impossible timelines, big challenges, and projects that make people say, "Wait... you built that?!" Every piece we produce is built to impress, built to last, and built with pride.

What You'll Do

Build Across Materials - Woodworking, rough and finish carpentry, cabinet making, MIG/TIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and more.

Electrical & HVAC Systems- Design and install electrical and HVAC systems for fabrication projects.

Mechanically Savvy- Diagnose, repair, and maintain gas/diesel generators.

Interpret & Execute - Interpret diagrams, schematics, and sometimes a back-of-the-napkin drawing - then make it real.

Finish Like a Pro - Ensure fabricated materials meet Lime's high finishing standards.

Problem Solve on the Fly - Adapt to design changes, material swaps, and last-minute requests.

Collaborate Like Crazy - Partner with scenic finishers, metal specialists, electricians, and project leads to deliver on time.

Own the Quality - Conduct quality checks to meet our "no shortcuts" standard.

Keep it Sharp - Maintain a clean, organized workspace and toolbox for maximum safety and efficiency.

Flex When Needed - Take on extra duties to support the team and meet deadlines.

What You Bring

Proven skills in woodworking, electrical, HVAC, and generator maintenance.

MIG/TIG welding proficiency; sheet metal experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics without hesitation.

Strong mechanical skills and quick problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

The drive to learn, improve, and tackle challenges head-on.

Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

Specialty fabrication experience - bring a portfolio or photos of past projects

Why You'll Love It Here

Variety Every Day - One week you're fabricating a sleek trade show booth; the next, a full-scale mobile activation.

Fast & Fun - We move quickly, think big, and love the thrill of seeing an idea go from sketch to "holy wow" in record time.

Pride in Craft - Everything we send out the door carries our name - and our reputation for excellence.

The Crew - You'll work with some of the most talented, creative, and hard-working people in the business.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and carry 50+ lbs regularly.

Comfortable standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Work Environment

Shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temps.

PPE required and provided.

Flexible hours, occasional overtime, and travel as needed.

The Lime Vibe

We're makers, dreamers, and problem-solvers who believe quality is non-negotiable and creativity is the fuel that keeps us going. We take care of each other, work hard, and have a blast doing it. If you want to be part of a shop where your ideas matter, your skills grow, and your builds turn heads, this is your place.
