Rite-Hite is seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Manager, based at our Milwaukee, WI Headquarters, to support our North American Distribution business, including Sales, Service, and Operations teams across multiple locations.

The HR Manager will operate as a trusted advisor to operational leaders while balancing employee relations leadership, business partnership, and project support. This role ensures consistent application of Rite-Hite's values, employment practices, and talent processes during a period of significant organizational growth and change.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner to Distribution Operations and other key areas, supporting field and operational leadership across Sales, Service, and Operations.

  • Partner with leaders to align people strategies, workforce planning, and organizational structure with business priorities and growth initiatives.

  • Lead complex employee relations matters across geographically dispersed technician, sales, and operational teams.

  • Coach leaders on performance management, engagement, organizational effectiveness, and manager capability in a multi-site, field-based environment.

  • Drive organizational effectiveness through role clarity, standard work, and consistent HR practices during periods of change

  • Support large-scale people initiatives, organizational changes, and strategic projects aligned to business growth and operational priorities

  • Partner with leaders on change management, team transitions, organizational structures to enable our business goals and long term strategy.

  • Use HR data and metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount, span of control, engagement) to identify trends, mitigate risk, and inform decision-making

  • Support critical talent initiatives, including workforce planning, hiring strategy alignment with TA, onboarding, and leadership capability development

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years supporting distribution, logistics, or manufacturing teams.

  • Experience working with hourly and field-based employees in multi-site operations.

  • 2+ years of HR supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

  • Strategic thinker with strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% across U.S. and Canadian locations; valid U.S. driver's license and passport required.
