About the Role

Grower Direct Farms is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to support high-volume recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations for our greenhouse and field-based workforce.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for getting employees hired quickly, onboarded correctly, and supported throughout their employment. You will work directly for the Head of Human Resources and play a key role in maintaining efficient HR processes.


Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Onboarding
  • Post jobs, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Prepare and process new hire documentation and personnel files
  • Ensure compliance with I-9 and onboarding requirements
HR Operations & Employee Support
  • Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now
  • Answer employee and supervisor HR questions (policies, benefits, payroll support)
  • Assist with employee offboarding and termination processes
  • Support benefits enrollment during open enrollment
Safety & Compliance
  • Lead safety-related administrative functions
  • Serve as primary contact for injury reporting and tracking
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
Administrative Support
  • Assist payroll processing and coordination as needed
  • Support office operations during peak periods (phones, visitors, general admin tasks)

QualificationsRequired
  • 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting, or onboarding
  • Current experience using ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll system)
