Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an experienced HR Business Partner to join their growing Human Resources team. This position serves as a strategic partner to business leaders while providing comprehensive HR support across a designated employee population. The ideal candidate is confident working with senior leadership, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has a strong foundation in employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices.

Job Description:

The HR Business Partner will act as the primary HR resource for an assigned business unit, providing guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with leadership to drive HR initiatives, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and foster a positive employee experience. The position offers the opportunity to influence organizational success while supporting both strategic and day-to-day HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for an assigned department or business unit.
  • Advise leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, and workplace concerns.
  • Partner with leadership to support organizational goals and workforce initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and HR best practices.
  • Provide guidance related to Title IX matters, labor relations, and employee investigations, as applicable.
  • Administer and support employee benefits programs while serving as a resource for employee questions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to address workforce planning and organizational needs.
  • Interpret HR policies, resolve workplace issues, and promote employee engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Senior HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager in a smaller organization.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, HR compliance, Title IX, labor relations, and benefits administration.
  • Experience partnering directly with Vice Presidents or other executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
