Job Description: Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies (WPES) is a Community of Expertise (CoE) in part of an overall partnership model created to provide superior strategic cross-functional advice, analysis, support, decision making and resolution on a range of workforce planning and employment related matters. WPES issues and programming are complex and constantly changing due to changes to provincial bargaining agreements, re-alignment of services/client care groups and the changing landscape of work. The Associate must have a broad understanding and sound knowledge of the various types of health care careers to effectively coordinate and plan programming, events and understand client needs. Knowledge of health service delivery in the province is also required. The Associate works in close collaboration with the Specialists on the team to provide support for daily workforce planning & employment issues/challenges that arise.

Experience

  • 1+ years experience in Human Resources

Education

  • Business Administration diploma (DBA)
  • Human Resources diploma
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Human Resources is acceptable
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
