A well-established global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its leadership team at a flagship U.S. manufacturing facility. This is an outstanding opportunity for an HR professional looking to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while developing into a future HR leadership role.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible on the manufacturing floor, building relationships with employees at all levels, and serving as a trusted business partner to plant leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR resource supporting daily plant operations
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Partner with leadership on workplace policies and HR best practices
  • Support workers' compensation, leave administration, and HR compliance initiatives
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention efforts
  • Utilize HRIS systems and Excel to maintain accurate employee records and reporting
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through regular interaction with employees across all departments
  • Spend significant time on the production floor supporting managers and employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, investigations, and HR compliance
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production environments preferred
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or similar systems
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Union manufacturing experience
  • Workers' Compensation and benefits administration experience
  • Experience participating in HRIS implementations or system conversions
