Responsibilities
HR Operations & Payroll:
  • Manage accurate, compliant, and timely end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Administer HRIS (ADP) to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee benefits programs, insurance renewals, and vendor/broker relationships with cost awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain audit-ready personnel records and standardized HR processes.
  • Develop repeatable, efficient workflows that control corporate costs without slowing delivery.

Recruiting, Orientation & Onboarding:
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting aligned to current and future contract requirements.
  • Support staffing strategies that build a multi-disciplined, mission-ready workforce.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, security clearance hiring, and proposal staffing support.
  • Develop and facilitate structured onboarding programs that accelerate employee contribution to customer missions.
  • Foster cross-contract collaboration by aligning onboarding with organizational goals and shared capabilities.
  • Track recruiting metrics to continuously improve hiring effectiveness and speed.

Corporate Events & Employee Engagement:
  • Support executive leaders in planning and executing the annual company trip, ensuring strong participation, alignment, and value.
  • Organize team-building activities that strengthen collaboration across contracts and disciplines.
  • Coordinate corporate outings and engagement events that reinforce XMStart's brand and identity.
  • Promote a shared mindset culture, emphasizing connection, communication, and collaboration.

Required Skills & Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP WorkForce Now.
  • Experience in a government contracting environment.
  • Experience working with executive leadership, hiring managers, external brokers or benefits vendors, and candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
