HR Generalist – ATSS Transition (3620)

Responsibilities
  • Administrate various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Administer the compensation program; monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
  • Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Develop and maintain affirmative action program; file EEO‑1 report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and non‑exempt personnel, students and temporary employees; conduct new‑employee orientations; monitor career‑pathing program; write and place advertisements.
  • Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance at the required level and maintain that clearance for continued employment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate specialization (HR Management or Business Management).
  • 0–6 years of work experience in an HR government services role or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with employee relations, benefits and recruiting.
  • Experience with CostPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
