Position Title: Compensation Specialist & HR Generalist

We're partnering with a stable, innovative manufacturing company seeking a Compensation Specialist / HR Generalist to support compensation strategy, total rewards, and key employee lifecycle initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys data-driven compensation work while maintaining involvement across Human Resources.
This role is essential for ensuring the organization's compensation practices are competitive and compliant. The position involves a significant focus on managing salary structures, conducting market analysis, and supporting HR functions. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive workplace culture by sharing ideas and participating in company events. This opportunity offers a blend of responsibilities in compensation and HR generalist tasks, making it a dynamic role for those with the right expertise. Salary Range: $82,000 - $94,000 / Year DOE
Responsibilities:
  • Manage salary structures and pay ranges
  • Research market pay and benchmark salaries
  • Analyze compensation data and make recommendations
  • Conduct job evaluations and determine pay levels
  • Ensure pay equity and compliance with compensation laws
  • Partner with HR on offers, promotions, and salary adjustments
  • Manage annual merit increases and bonus programs
  • Maintain compensation data in the HRIS
  • Support total rewards programs
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Assist employees and managers with HR questions
  • Administer benefits, leave, performance management, and recognition programs
  • Maintain employee records in the HRIS
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of HR experience, with a focus on compensation
  • Experience with compensation surveys (ERI, Mercer, Korn Ferry)
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom, Workday, SAP, ADP)
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compensation practices
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree is acceptable
  • CCP certification is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
