JOB SUMMARY

The Help Desk at KIOTI Tractor is responsible for troubleshooting problems and assisting customers/employees to resolve technical issues related to computers, desktops, phones, laptops, etc. This position is responsible for a range of tasks including configuring, testing, and troubleshooting basic network and wireless issues, setting up user accounts, and formatting and setting up desktop and laptop computers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

The Desktop Support Technician’s key responsibilities are outlined below:

  • New hire set up, including mailbox setup, activating access badges, creation of accounts, and setting up work stations
  • Identify and resolve hardware/software problems related to Office365, file systems, laptops, and barcode scanners
  • Train and guide employees on hardware and software usage
  • Managing employee asset inventory, such as tracking serial numbers to employee’s
  • Ensuring on-hand user assets, such as laptops, are ordered and setup for deployment
  • Document procedures and cases using a ticketing system
  • Directly support the Systems Administrator on environmental projects related to: VMWare, Dynamics SL, RingCentral, Active Directory, Server Maintenance, Printing, and Windows Server 2019 maintenance


EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 1-3 years of equivalent work experience or certifications
  • Experience with Windows 10, Office 365, Laptops, and Bluetooth headsets
  • Experience with basic Windows environment administration with Active Directory
  • Experience with file systems and file explorer or a SAN/NAS
  • Experience with IPv4 networking


Preferred Experience:

  • Basic Mailbox Administration for Exchange Online
  • Experience working with an ERP software
  • Experience working with a CRM software
