Job Summary:

We pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming environment, and we are looking for a dedicated Hotel Houseman to join our team. The Hotel Houseman plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel facilities. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas and assisting with housekeeping duties, as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and elevators.
- Assist housekeeping staff with the removal of linens, trash, and other waste materials from guest rooms.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and deliver amenities as needed.
- Ensure that all housekeeping carts and storage areas are well stocked, organized, and clean.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down conference rooms, meeting spaces, and event areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure an efficient and effective cleaning process.
- Uphold the hotel's standard operating procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Provide top-notch customer service to maintain the hotel’s positive reputation.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
