Job Summary: Sorts, cleans, and folds linen and terry by meeting established property standards of cleanliness to consistently provide a high-quality experience and ensure guest satisfaction. Meets all property and industry related health and safety guidelines to support the well-being of guests, team members, and the local community. Second Shift hours.

Requirements

Job Duties:

  • Ensure the safety, and security of our guests, by maintaining guest privacy at all times.
  • Sorts, cleans, and folds linen and terry to ensure a safe and clean experience for all guests and team members.
  • May be asked to strips beds upon checkout and place dirty linen inside room.
  • Prepares, and maintains, linen carts in a neat and orderly manner to increase productivity, and efficiency.
  • Visually inspects work area for cleanliness, wiping doors, sweeping/ mopping floor, and restocking laundry supplies (e.g., detergent, stain products, etc.).
  • Completes work orders, or notifies a supervisor, of maintenance needs in a laundry space or public area.
  • Maintains a professional, friendly, and positive demeanor at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years Hotel Laundry Experience Required.
  • Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighting up to 100 lbs. Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
