Job description

Overview
Coordinate all reservations activity on the property.
Responsibilities
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing reservation request from Casino Host and 3rd party booking sites in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Assist with group sales reservation.
  • Maintain a record of all corporate, special rates, and preferred company rates.
  • Keep accurate reservation control, to insure maximum room occupancy and highest possible room rates.
  • Answer all inbound call to the property while routing them to the correct department.
  • Assure the safety and security of guest and employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Completion of high school or equivalent.
  • One year experience in a high volume hotel as a desk clerk or reservationist.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Display strong work ethic and team work.
