General Summary:
Turnbridge seeks passionate and experienced cooks to prepare meals for clients and staff in a home setting, following established menus, recipes, and sanitary standards. Candidates should be team players with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a kitchen environment.

  • Ensures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
  • Assists in standardizing the method in which work will be accomplished and that meals are served on time.
  • Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus, adhering to all sanitary regulations.
  • Prepares and serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
  • Prepares food with standardized recipes and adheres to special diet orders.
  • Prepares evening snacks; Prepares substitute meals for residents who prefer other food.
  • Works with other departments as necessary in relation to food service needs.
  • Assists management with ordering of food and supplies.
  • Assists in inventorying and storing food and supplies
  • Work closely with residents.
