JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:  Bible Media Group (BMG) Project Specialist
Position Type: In-Person Only (Location-Specific: Pompano Beach, FL)
           
Reports To:  Director of Communications, BMG 
Full Time                   Part Time            Temporary              On Call   
Exempt                   Non-Exempt 
Job Summary
The Project Specialist is a full-time, locally based role responsible for providing administrative, operational, and project support to the Bible Media Group. This position plays a critical role in hands-on involvement in projects, processes, and data systems to ensure organization, accuracy, and efficient progress across all BMG departments. The ideal candidate brings strong database analysis experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage details while understanding the bigger picture, particularly within a global, ministry-focused, and media-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
Social Media, Communications & Production Support
 
  • Provide operational support for film, media, video editing, or production-related projects (knowledge of film or production workflows is a plus)
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders involved in media and content initiatives
  • Support projects connected to global ministry initiatives, ensuring cultural sensitivity and alignment with mission and values
  • Support film, media, and content production projects; familiarity with production workflows preferred.
  • Assist in social media content workflows, as needed by the Director.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather assets and ensure the timely delivery of content.
  • Monitor basic engagement metrics to inform content improvements.
  • Capture and support the distribution of stories, events, and ministry highlights across platforms.
  • Ensure all communications reflect brand consistency, cultural sensitivity, and mission alignment.

Project & Administrative Support
 
  • Supports workflows, timelines, and action items across multiple projects
  • Understand Bible Media Group and OneHope, its history and culture; governance structure, staff, and Board; programs and projects; and other constituencies
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and project support to Bible Media Group leadership and teams
  • Support document and data preparation, tracking, organization, and compliance in collaboration with leadership and external partners
  • Help ensure internal processes align with organizational policies and best practices

Database, Systems & Analytics
 
  • Maintain and manage internal databases and tracking systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Support reporting, basic analytics, and data insights to help leadership make informed decisions
  • Assist with process optimization related to information flow, documentation, and recordkeeping

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative or project support experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional knowledge
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, speed, and efficiency
  • Experience supporting contracts, documentation, or legal/administrative processes
  • Familiarity with HR operations or people strategy support
  • Experience maintaining databases, analytics or reporting experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing, film, media, and/or production (including video editing skills) and environments preferred
  • Understanding of or experience with global ministry or nonprofit work preferred
Skills and Abilities
 
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, iOS/Windows environments, video editing software, and social media platforms.
  • Fluent in English; effective verbal and written Spanish is a plus.
  • Demonstrates integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency, even under pressure.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining proactive, results-oriented, and skilled at planning, prioritizing, and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and convey warmth in all interactions.
  • Strong listener who can synthesize input from multiple sources into clear action items.
  • Adaptable and receptive to change across organizational structure, priorities, and processes.
