Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii.

General job duties:
Circulate Cases, Help with turnover cleaning, Transport patients when needed, Schedule cases.
Types of Procedures required to independently circulate:
General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, Gynecology.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Meditech , PYXIS .
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
2 to 3 years at minimum of circulating cases in a hospital setting. Ability to scrub cases is preferred.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
BLS, State of Hawaii RN license required for this position.
Shift or schedule requirements.
We currently operate from Monday through Friday from 06:45 to 23:15. You shifts may be variable based on department needs. Travelers' will be scheduled 40 hours a week, possibility of 32 hours if their is a holiday.
We cover call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Everyone is assigned call, on average 1-2 times a week plus up to 2 weekends a month. **Must be within 30 minute radius of hospital for call back
The applicant will orient on the day shift for up to 1 week or under manager's discretion.
Traveler must complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the duration of the contract if RTO (requested time off) is requested and approved.discretion.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept:
We have 6 OR suites plus one dedicated to C sections. Daily we have 4 to 6rooms running simultaneously. We are a small but very busy and efficient OR.

Scrubs are provided.

Patterns Hiring Job ID #296700-6. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
