Tombras, a 450+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking an IT Help Desk Intern.
You'll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America. Where you'll be working: Knoxville
What to expect as a Help Intern at Tombras:
Commitment to a 9 week, paid internship, $18 an hour starting on 06/16/26 and ending on 08/14/26 with a maximum of 25 hours per week.
What you'll be doing:
  • First-Line Support: Acting as the initial point of contact for technical requests via Slack, email, and in-person "walk-ups."
  • Hardware Deployment: Assisting with the setup, imaging, and configuration of workstations (primarily Mac-based) for new hires.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing issues with software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365), hardware (laptops, printers), and office connectivity.
  • Meeting Support: Ensuring conference room AV technology is functional and software is current.

Asset Management: Helping maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, peripherals, and software licenses.

  • Technical Literacy: A foundational understanding of macOS and Windows operating systems. Familiarity with mobile devices (iOS/Android) is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: The ability to approach technical hurdles with logic and patience.
