THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for an IT Intern to join our team in Rowley, MA and get hands-on experience supporting day-to-day IT operations. This role gives you a front-row seat to how technology supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment, from end-user support to system setup and internal tools.

You’ll be working alongside our IT team helping keep things running, troubleshooting issues, setting up equipment, and building documentation that others rely on. You’ll also get exposure to projects that improve how we manage and deliver IT services across the business.

It’s a good fit for someone who likes solving problems, staying organized, and learning by doing. You won’t just be watching, you’ll be contributing.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Support the IT team by managing and routing help desk tickets to the right resources
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and walk users through solutions
  • Document issues and resolutions clearly to support future requests
  • Set up workstations, monitors, and peripherals for employees onsite
  • Track and manage IT assets in the asset management system
  • Pre-provision new devices using Microsoft Autopilot
  • Image and configure systems using tools like MDT and Autopilot
  • Coordinate hardware repairs and track progress with vendors
  • Assist with applying system updates, patches, and software upgrades
  • Create documentation for common IT tasks and processes
  • Support research and development of internal service catalog tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

YOU’LL BRING:

  • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Interest in IT support within an office and manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work directly with end users
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and think through solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Dependable and team-oriented approach

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Exposure to Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Office tools
  • Experience with help desk or ticketing systems (ServiceDesk Plus, Spiceworks, etc.)
  • Experience with remote support tools like Kaseya or similar
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or imaging tools
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments
  • Experience supporting mobile devices (iPhone, Android)

WHERE YOU’LL WORK:

This is an onsite role based out of our Rowley, Massachusetts location. You’ll be working directly with our IT team in a hands-on environment where you can learn quickly, ask questions, and get real experience supporting both office and manufacturing operations
