We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile professional to join our team as a Healthcare Business Development and Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for creating long-term, trusting relationships with healthcare customers, overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from existing clients, actively seeking new sales opportunities, and ensuring effective communication with referral sources. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth, meeting sales targets, and representing our company in a professional and competent manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual growth targets.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company's vision, mission, and services provided.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, sub-acute rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, skilled home health care agencies, hospice providers, and physicians.
  • Create and nurture long-term, trusting relationships with healthcare customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of assigned customers, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Visit 5 referral sources per day, maintaining close relationships and staying updated on their needs and preferences.
  • Provide prompt responses and updates to referral sources, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Keep track of referrals by accounts, documenting relevant information and tracking progress.
  • Keep in touch with referral sources, providing ongoing support and facilitating the onboarding of patients.
  • Reach out to and qualify referrals through outbound calling or in-person meetings, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and suitability for our services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to convert qualified referrals into successful business opportunities.
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities within the healthcare industry through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Participate in conferences, tradeshows, and marketing events to promote the company and establish brand awareness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on account performance, sales activities, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare business development and account management.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth, meeting targets, and managing customer relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with healthcare customers and referral sources.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience marketing in health care
  • Must be organized, customer service oriented, detail oriented and performance driven.
  • Ability to travel 90% of the time within the designated area of accounts.
  • Highly organized with exceptional multitasking skills to manage a diverse portfolio of accounts.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including market trends and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a relevant field.
