Reports to:ย ย  Elementary Principal
Job Goals:ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  To ensure the safety of children during inside and outside play activities.ย 
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย To ensure the safety of children during lunch in the cafeteria.
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย To assist children with condiments and their lunches when necessary.
Responsibilities:
1.Communicates effectively with students and adults.
2.Utilizes decision making skills in conflictual situations with students.
3.Implements rules for recess, lunchroom or hallways and gives students' feedback.
4.Remains in designated area for supervision unless authorized by head supervisor or the principal.
5.Supervises students in the hallways and/or cafeteria during lunches.
6.Maintains a positive eating and playing environment.
7.Implements rules for the lunchroom or hallway.
8.Uses appropriate consequences for inappropriate behavior on the playground or in the cafeteria.
9.Assists students with lunch condiments or opening items in their lunch.
10.Attends any scheduled meetings.
11.Communicates regularly with the head supervisor, head cafeteria supervisor and principal.
12.Dresses appropriately for the work environment and the weather.
13.Informs classroom teacher and / or principal of student discipline infractions.
14.Performs other duties as assigned.























Work Hours: ย 9:30 am - 2:20 pm
