Description
Pinnacle Logistics is a leading provider of scheduled surface transportation, supply chain management, and related logistics services within the domestic United States. Every day, we manage the shipment of goods to and from over 40 freight terminals.
We are looking for a Human Resources Supervisor who is driven, a self-starter, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and interested in being challenged with various work daily. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in a broad range of HR activities for our location in the AUS area.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
• Conduct daily recruiting process including screening resumes, scheduling phone screens and interviews, and managing candidate logistics/flow
  • Conducts mandatory pre-employment drug screenings, enters authorizations for background checks for verification and communicates with Managers on the pre-employment process status for selected candidates.
  • New Hire Orientation. Prepares, organizes, and checks new hire files to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately per state and federal regulations, enters new hires into Kronos, and inputs I-9s' into e-verity.
  • Extends offers of employment to Agent level candidates upon successful completion of pre-employment contingencies.
  • On-Boarding of new hires giving a broad overview of organization and culture.

• Manages data and provides support, including entering hires, terms, and personnel changes; runs reports and analyzes data weekly
  • Conducts Non-Supervisory Sexual Harassment Awareness Training.
  • Answers, screens, and directs incoming calls for assistance or resolution.
  • Processes requests for Leave of Absences notify payroll and oversees process until leave has ended.
  • Assist with payroll. Verify timesheet

• Provides general assistance as needed to Corporate HR and gateway management team members
  • Performs other duties as directed or assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of HR administration experience required
Self-starter
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Exceptional attention to detail, verbal and written communication
Education: Related bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HR administration experience required
