Registered Sonographer- Vascular - Days

In addition to hospital-based services, we also support a wide variety of aortic and vascular surgeons. Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate proficiency with skills and knowledge to perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations, assess technical data and provide preliminary results, and assist in the interpretation of exams
  • Exam types include: Visceral arterial/venous Cerebrovascular – including TCDIPeripheral venous Peripheral arterial Vascular surgery OR procedures – pre, intra, and post-operative evaluations
  • Operates highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System)
  • Trains students and staff as assigned
  • Creates a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families
  • Assesses data reflective of the patient status. Interprets information needed to identify each patients requirement and/or specific needs, and provides care per applicable policy and procedures
  • Interacts with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care

Compensation Range: $33.52 - $50.28

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
