• Conduct thorough assessments and develop customized treatment plans for adult clients experiencing mental health challenges.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices, to facilitate healing and growth.
• Document each session meticulously, ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards, and maintaining client confidentiality.
• Foster a safe and therapeutic relationship, empowering clients to explore their emotions and experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues in regular supervision and case consultations to enhance therapeutic outcomes and share best practices.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and keep up-to-date with the evolving mental health landscape.

You will primarily work with adult clients, providing care to individuals with diverse backgrounds and a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your ability to connect with clients and tailor your approach to their unique situations will be critical in helping them achieve their therapeutic goals.

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy from a regionally accredited institution.
• A valid and active mental health license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in good standing.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adults.
• Proven proficiency in evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Strong written communication skills for effective session documentation and reporting.
• A clear professional record without any disciplinary actions by a licensing board.

• Experience working in a telehealth or remote setting is preferred, demonstrating adaptability to the online therapy environment.
• Familiarity with digital health records and remote counseling platforms, enhancing efficiency in session management and documentation.
• Training or experience in additional therapeutic modalities is an asset.

Carilion Therapeutic Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, and generous paid time off.
