As a therapist at Carilion Therapeutic Clinic, you will work primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. This may include anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, and trauma. Our diverse clientele highlights the importance of empathy and flexibility in tailoring treatment approaches effectively.

• A master’s level degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy from a regionally accredited university.
• An active and unrestricted state license as a social worker (LCSW), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or professional counselor (LPC).
• At least two years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy, with a demonstrated ability to assist adults in overcoming mental health issues.
• Proficient writing and communication skills to ensure proper documentation and patient interaction.
• A clean record with no prior disciplinary actions taken against you by any licensing board.

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities beyond CBT, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other software relevant to telehealth services.
• Previous experience working in remote settings, especially within telehealth environments.
