Custodian 

Are you a dependable worker seeking a new opportunity? This temp-to-hire custodial opportunity with a well-respected national retailer could be a great fit for you.  

This prominent national retailer in Bolingbrook that manufactures car mats and accessories for cars and homes is looking for Custodians!  

Unlike other employers, they value and reward hard work—the goal is to bring you onboard full-time with them as permanent employee. 

Custodian Job Duties:  

  • Wash and disinfect washrooms including but not limited to floors, toilets, soap dispensers, paper towel dispenser, toilet tissue, counter tops, sinks, mirrors. 

  • Wash and disinfect lunchroom including but not limited to tables, chairs, floors clean and polish all stainless-steel chrome. 

  • Routinely empty waste baskets and garbage containers 

  • Clean machines, factory equipment, and maintain cleanliness of entrances and exits. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Schedule:    

  • 1st shift 

  • Monday- Friday 

  • 6:00am- 2:30pm  

Pay: 

  • $17.00  

Material Handler Requirements:  

  • 1 year prior custodial, building maintenance or general labor experience 

  • Constantly required to move about while performing cleaning duties including but not limited to using stairs/ladders or position self in order to clean objects at or near floor level 

  • Be able to read, understand, and follow labels/instructions for proper use of cleaning products and supplies 

  • Be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. 

  • Must be able to operate a floor scrubber
