Job description

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. This role involves providing essential care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is preferred
