Caregiver

We are seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. In this role, you will provide essential support to seniors and individuals in need, allowing them to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.

As a caregiver, your work will have a direct impact on improving quality of life and providing peace of mind to both clients and their families.

Job Type: Part Time Non-exempt

Hourly:  $15 - $18

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
  • Assist with household tasks necessary to the client’s health care needs Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Monitor and report changes in a client’s health or behavior
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Positive Attitude and compassion to treat clients with dignity and respect.
  • High school diploma or educational equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English at an average adult level
  • Must have a valid and current state driver’s license and insurance.
  • Must have safe and reliable transportation to go to and from the client’s location and/or facilities and have a vehicle available during assignments in order to assist clients with their needs if required.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
  • Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening including drug testing.

 

Physical Demands include but are not limited to:

  • Able to lift, move, and assist clients. If you feel you cannot safely lift the client, please notify the office immediately.
  • Ability to safely assist client in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle.
  • Able to communicate with others to accurately exchange information.
  • Able to operate office equipment such as a computer, phone, etc.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Able to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking and driving.
