Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and professional Guest Relations Associate to provide exceptional customer service at funeral homes and centers. This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable assisting families and guests during emotionally sensitive times. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment, ensuring services run smoothly while offering comfort and assistance to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests with warmth, professionalism, and discretion
  • Provide directions, answer questions, and offer support to grieving families and attendees.
  • Monitor service areas to ensure a peaceful and respectful environment.
  • Assist with seating, floral arrangements, and program distribution.
  • Communicate effectively with funeral home staff to coordinate service details.
  • Handle guest inquiries with patience and sensitivity in emotional situations.
  • Operate basic electronic equipment such as telephones and photocopiers.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties, including tidying service areas and replenishing supplies.
  • Attend required training sessions and guest relations meetings.

  • Frequent standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 35 lbs., such as chairs, floral arrangements, or supplies).
  • Must be able to assist guests with mobility needs as necessary.
  • Interaction with grieving families and guests in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, based on service needs.
  • Must be willing to travel to different locations.
  • Work flexible hours (mainly days) and be available to work Saturdays.
  • Hours are not guaranteed.
  • Participation in ongoing training, guest relations meetings, and adherence to workplace policies and procedures.
