How much does a grounds keeper earn?

A groundskeeper intern typically earns between $10 and $15 per hour, depending on location, experience, and the employer. Compensation may increase with additional skills such as equipment operation or landscaping knowledge, and internships often offer a combination of pay and training opportunities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Groundskeeper Intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Groundskeeper Intern, you need basic knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, and maintenance practices, often gained through coursework or hands-on experience. Familiarity with landscaping tools, lawn mowers, irrigation systems, and safety protocols is typically required. Reliability, strong work ethic, and good communication skills help interns work effectively in teams and adapt to changing outdoor conditions. These skills ensure well-maintained grounds, safe environments, and efficient teamwork in support of property upkeep.

What does a Groundskeeper Intern do?

A Groundskeeper Intern assists with the maintenance and care of outdoor spaces such as parks, sports fields, campuses, or gardens. Their duties often include mowing lawns, planting flowers, trimming shrubs, removing debris, and performing basic landscaping tasks under supervision. Groundskeeper Interns also learn to safely operate tools and equipment while working as part of a team.

How to become a groundskeeper with no experience?

What jobs make $3,000 a month without a degree?

Groundskeeper interns typically do not earn $3,000 a month; however, some entry-level roles such as commercial truck drivers, sales representatives, or skilled trades like HVAC technicians can reach or exceed that income without a college degree, especially with experience and certifications.
