JOB SUMMARY:


The Groundskeeper Intern is employed to do landscaping maintenance needs as assigned to specific areas on campus.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
  • Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
  • Maintain landscaped areas on or around the Campus.
  • Prepare flowerbeds.
  • Weed around buildings and terrace areas.
  • Mulch planted areas and or around trees.
  • Removal and replacement of stones around buildings.
  • Edge landscape areas around campus.
  • Lawn Maintenance - top soil & seeding.
  • Set up hoses/water plantings as needed.
  • Constant use of shovels, rakes, etc.
  • Clean up and remove waste/liter across all ground on entire Campus
  • Campus wide - seasonal clean up.
  • Apartment garages swept out and clean up sand in parking areas.
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment as directed/approved.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned
