About the RoleThe Golf Operations Intern will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of our golf facilities while helping provide an exceptional experience for our guests.
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the hospitality, tourism, recreation, and golf industries. The intern will assist with a variety of operational responsibilities, including guest service, event and tournament coordination, golf shop operations, and general facility support.
By working alongside experienced team members, the Golf Operations Intern will gain valuable insight into the business and operational aspects of golf management while developing an understanding of the high level of service expected within a resort environment.
Ultimately, this position is intended to develop the intern's skills and industry knowledge while preparing them for future opportunities in hospitality, recreation, sports management, or golf operations.
Minimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Sports Management, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Previous customer service experience, preferably within the hospitality, recreation, sports, or golf industry.
Familiarity with golf operations and golf terminology.
Assist with the daily operations of the golf course and golf shop.
Assist with managing tee times and guest check-ins.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
Support the planning and execution of golf events and tournaments.
Assist with event logistics to help ensure tournaments and special events operate efficiently.
